The e-book collects what is published here into a single file you can read offline, on an e-reader, phone, or tablet. It carries the articles in full, with their sources, alongside an index of articles by topic and by date, and sections for the people, events, and organizations.

Editions

A new edition is generated each time the site is published, so the file you download reflects the record as it stood that day. Older editions stay available below, dated, so a copy you cite does not change under you.

The e-book reproduces our own articles for offline reading. Third-party works are quoted only as excerpts for commentary, the same standard the site follows.
